Problem

You’ve connected your Logitech G502 mouse, but it doesn’t show up in Logitech G Hub, or the software says “No Devices Detected.” This prevents you from customizing DPI, buttons, lighting, and profiles.

Solution

This issue is typically caused by a USB detection problem, G Hub installation glitch, outdated firmware, or driver conflicts. Follow these steps to fix it.

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting Guide

1. Restart G Hub and Your PC

  • Right-click the G Hub icon in the system tray > Quit
  • Reopen G Hub as Administrator (right-click > Run as Administrator)
  • If the mouse still doesn’t show, restart your PC

2. Check USB Connection

For Wired G502:

  • Plug into a different USB-A port (direct on motherboard preferred)
  • Avoid USB hubs, docking stations, or front panel ports

For Wireless G502:

  • Ensure the receiver is plugged in
  • Turn on the mouse using the switch on the bottom
  • Use the included USB extender to reduce interference

3. Check Device Manager

  • Press Win + X > Device Manager
  • Look for the mouse under:
    • Mice and other pointing devices
    • Universal Serial Bus controllers
  • If marked with a warning (!) or unknown device:
    • Right-click > Uninstall > Reboot
    • Reconnect the mouse

4. Update or Reinstall G Hub

  • Uninstall Logitech G Hub:
    • Settings > Apps > Logitech G Hub > Uninstall
  • Delete leftover folders:
    • C:\Program Files\LGHUB
    • C:\Users\<YourName>\AppData\Local\LGHUB
  • Restart your PC
  • Download the latest version: https://www.logitechg.com/ghub
  • Reinstall and launch

5. Check for Firmware Updates (If Detected Later)

Once the mouse appears:

  • Click the gear icon ⚙️
  • Check for a firmware update
  • Apply and reboot if necessary

6. Use Onboard Memory as Fallback

If G Hub won’t detect the device but it works otherwise:

  • Switch the mouse to Onboard Memory Mode (hardware profiles still function)
  • Use default DPI, lighting, and button mappings until G Hub is restored

Advanced Fix (Wireless G502)

If the receiver is not pairing:

  • In G Hub, click Add a Device
  • Hold down DPI button + Left Click + Right Click for 5–10 seconds to enter pairing mode (model dependent)
  • Try reconnecting

Notes

  • G Hub requires Windows 10 or macOS 11+ to function properly
  • Some antivirus or security tools may block G Hub—try disabling them temporarily
  • For enterprise PCs, make sure you’re not restricted by group policies or admin controls
